Where it all began
We started My Perfect Day Tenerife in 2022, just as the world reopened after COVID. What began as two friends turning a passion into a business has grown into something we're incredibly proud of. Since that first wedding, we've planned over 100 weddings, helped countless couples create surprise proposals, coordinated beautiful vow renewals, decorated hundreds of private events, and even worked with global brands on marketing campaigns here in Tenerife. Tracey has called the island home for 30 years. Gail made the move from Edinburgh in 2007. Together we bring decades of personal experience on the island — and a network of suppliers, venues, and friends to match.

I left Kent's countryside for Tenerife's volcanic beauty thirty years ago and never looked back. Three decades here have given me deep island roots and endless creative inspiration that flows into everything I do. What makes me different? I'm both your planner and celebrant, personally writing every ceremony from scratch. By your wedding day, our bond feels so genuine that guests always ask, "Are you a friend of the family?" With 25+ years in events and my background as a professional dancer, I bring an artist's eye for movement, timing, and creating unforgettable moments. I see possibilities where others see obstacles, weaving your personal stories into celebrations that feel authentically you. My performance background means I understand rhythm and flow — how to orchestrate experiences that feel effortlessly magical. And don't worry if you have two left feet — I can help with that too!

After years of visiting, I made the permanent leap and traded Scottish weather for year-round paradise (best decision ever!). I started in the hotel industry before moving into large-scale event planning for a major tour operator. Those years taught me everything — how to work with each venue's unique character, build strong relationships with the best suppliers, and stay calm when things get intense. Friends say I'm unflappable under pressure, which is exactly what you need when wedding day emotions run high. The result? Your dream day, executed flawlessly by someone who genuinely cares as much as you do.
