Frequently asked questions
Do I need to hire the venue exclusively?
No — you can just rent the grass area. For 40+ guests you may need to rent in tables and chairs for the lawn space.
What time can I start my wedding?
The venue is open 11am–10pm. For food after ceremony, we recommend pre-drinks at 3.30pm with a 4.30pm ceremony start. Sunset ceremonies are lovely for ceremony only or more intimate celebrations
What time does it need to finish?
By 10pm. For large exclusive-hire weddings we may be able to get a licence until 11pm.
Is there a wet weather backup?
Yes, an indoor area for up to 40 guests. In extreme weather, tents may be needed (couple's expense).
Can I have just a ceremony?
Yes — see our ceremony only package.
Can guests pay for their own drinks?
Yes. Roca Blanca is one of the few venues that allows a cash bar, making it very popular.
60–70 guests — do I need exclusive hire?
It depends on the food package. Finger food with cocktail tables — no. Sit-down table setup — yes.
Will others be in the venue?
If you haven't hired exclusively, other people may be in the beach club and restaurant.
Can I have a DJ or live music?
Yes, we arrange everything. Just let us know the hours needed.
Can I have a sax player?
Yes — €400. Particularly nice at sunset.
Can I make my own package?
Mostly yes — tell us what you'd like and we'll put together a personal quote.
Can I just order from the restaurant menu?
